Good tanking in Mythic+ is about much more than surviving pulls or playing whichever spec happens to be S-tier or meta.
A strong tank controls the dungeon. That means knowing the route, gathering packs cleanly, positioning mobs properly, keeping threat under control and understanding which enemies actually need to die first.
In this new episode of the Mythic+ Tanking Masterclass, I go through the core concepts that apply to every tank spec, including routes, gathering and positioning, aggro, priority targets, cleave and funnel damage, interrupts, stops, defensive cooldowns, kiting and chaining pulls.
A lot of these things sound basic, but they are the things that make runs feel smooth, safe and predictable. They also become more important the higher you push, because small mistakes in positioning, cooldown usage or target priority can quickly turn into wipes.
